The MT1 turntable is basically a classic construction, but at the same time it is quite unique in its details. The idea of a heavy-duty turntable on a relatively light base frame is not new, but Muarah has also developed a system that dampens the suspension: the damping is due to the oil sump. This is Muarah's own construction.
In addition, the base frame is made up of two layers of acrylic glass separated by a thin layer of silicone to separate them from harmful impulses from motor vibration or the environment. The suspension is in contact with the top layer only, and the drive motor and the three adjustable legs of the plate are secured with the bottom acrylic panel. The bowl is made of solid aluminum and has a thin acrylic coating, its heavy weight guarantees high speed stability.
Due to the choice of technology, the Muarah turntable is exceptionally noisy, offering the highest possible dynamic range from the analog disc.
